A letter from the Chapter President...

Welcome to the Ohio Eta chapter of Pi Beta Phi here at Denison University! It’s an honor to serve at the 2018 Chapter President at Ohio Eta where I have met some of the most special and influential people of my life.

I was a member of the 2016 pledge class at Ohio Eta and will be graduating in May 2019 with a degree in Communication, Spanish, and Organizational Studies. It’s crazy that my journey with at Ohio Eta began almost two and a half years ago. Since then I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet hundreds of women who I now call my best friends and sisters.

Pursuing a college education can be stressful and frightening at times, but Pi Beta Phi provides a support system like no other. The members of this house are women who I can laugh with for hours on end, go to for honest advice, or cry to when having a bad day. Without a doubt these women will be the bridesmaids of my wedding and remain as my best friends. However, I chose Pi Beta Phi because we are all driven individuals who want to pursue our aspirations and goals. It is a house full of different personalities and backgrounds, but we all have endless motivation and support for one another. When one of our sisters gets a job or receives an A on her exam, we are all standing by her and applauding her outstanding achievement. Of course we have an over abundant amount of matching shirts, but what makes us a sorority is the the strong bond with these women that I have not found anywhere else. I was always told that you find your “people” at college, but finding Pi Phi has been a blessing.

I hope that Pi Phi can be to you what it has been to me. It truly enhanced my college career, opened up many opportunities, and allowed me to grow into who I am today. With only one year left with Ohio Eta, these 120 amazing women will be hard to part with, but I know I will have endless memories and stories with me for life. As I said before, it is truly an honor to serve as the Chapter President of Ohio Eta, where I am privileged to spend the best four years of my life.
